Our client is a big pharmaceutical company with a production site in 1210 Vienna where veterinary medicines for the European and U.S. markets are produced. Approximately 300 employees work at the site in the areas of production, laboratory, and administration.
To support our dynamic team in Vienna, we are looking for a full-time candidate to start immediately as
Product Quality Expert / Quality Assurance (m/f/d)
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical product quality and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of quality. In this role, you will handle product complaints, Product Quality Reviews (PQRs), escalations, and provide quality support for site projects such as product transfers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related escalations and deviations, providing clear and effective resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product transfers across different manufacturing sites
- Oversee and contribute to the validation of analytical methods, ensuring reliability and accuracy
- Investigate and resolve product-related complaints (PQC) promptly and efficiently
- Product Quality Reviews (PQRs): Conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
- Prepare, review and maintain high-quality technical documents, reports, and presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Pharmacy, Process Engineering, or Natural Sciences, advanced degrees are a plus
- Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing or quality assurance
- At least 5 years of experience in product quality, with knowledge of solid oral dosage forms being a plus
- Experience with method validation and product transfers is a plus
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation
- A scientific mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in English is required, German is a plus

- A minimum gross salary of 3.643,48 € based on full-time employment (38h/week) collective agreement for the Chemical Industry. There is the possibility of higher compensation depending on qualifications and professional experience
